Translated literally, word for word phrases Cat in the Hat does not rhyme. But if the translators are working in this field may change the order of words, or select a word that is something different and to rhyme. Check out "Cat Pettasatus" in Latin. Phrases that rhyme, but not exactly, word for word translation. To translate the meaning, but they have things change a little bit of rhyme.

Japan has the words that rhyme, too.
really important in the Japanese literature and traditional poetry.
and rhyme is very important for the game of Japanese words.
I do not know a Dr. Seuss book in Japan. but it is trans free. not literally trans.

Absolutely.

From where the palm grows
And before I die
take my verses of the soul.
